I am tired.

Location

I am tired.

I am always tired.

No matter how much sleep I get.

My thoughts are veiled by fog.

Thinking is hard.

The alarm rings.

I don’t want to get up,

But I hear footsteps and voices.

The house is awake now.

My name is called.

“Eli, wake up!”

My sister yells to me.

I stretch and yawn and pull the cord.

Lights dance before me.

It is day now.

The moon is up,

So why is it daytime?

I slip on clothing carelessly

I probably look good.

I always do.

Do I need food?

I don’t feel like I do.

Everything sounds disgusting.

I’ll try to eat later

If there is time.

It’s cold outside.

I hate the snow so much.

I get cold really easily,

So I have to bundle.

I’m still cold though.

It’s time to go,

The car wasn’t started,

So it’s cold the entire ride.

I’m glad I wore my gloves.

I miss summer.

I’m feeling fine.

Till I think of Shakespear,

Till I remember pre-calq,

Till I ponder psych,

I’m foggy now.

I am tired.

I am always tired.

No matter how much sleep I get.

My thoughts are veiled by fog.

Thinking is hard.
