I Am Man

Location

I bleed like the rest of you, set fire to the sun and send no warning or rescue. I beat on my chest to hide my pain and I will smile and tell you that I am ok to hide my shame. I praise his name and pray for the ones he gave birth to, so to say all men are evil is unfair because I am man and I have never done anything to hurt you. For many that I care about and some that I don't know, I will where an "S" on my chest cause they deserve the best which is why I am not afraid to become superman and put the evil doer's to rest. But I'm only man. Not a boy nor child, so don't criticize me for speaking out loud when I realize that something you are doing is foul. But I'm only man. I wish I had the power of God to change the world with a blink but I'm only man so all I can do is pray and try to help people think. Now everybody is different but we all want the same, to be loved and cherished and for are children to believe in the father as well as our name. See one thing that kids are never taught but they learn it on their own is that there is a difference between love and lust and how it can damage ones belief and trust. I wish I could be that middle man to get rid of all the lust, but I'm only man and my superman cape doesn't do that much. We're only human and we all make mistakes but the man in me wants to make it right no matter what it takes. I am neither a boy nor child, I am man.
