Corageous but shy

Captivated by the birds

Who are just like I

Stand firm on the ground

But seek peace in flight.

Whether in darkness or in light.

I am I

strong willed and kind

Loving and motherly

 No one seems to mind

Inner beauty that my outer shell may never find

Yet my scars are the beautiful autographs of time.

So who am I? 

I am strength 

I am love

I am who walks below 

but dreams above

I am remarkable 

I am strange

I am history, future
