I Am Alone or Am I?
And so my lifeblood falls
drip drip,
drip,
drip.
drip drip,
drip,
drip.
Once as lovely as the full moon,
Skin now ceramic,
Cold.
The dripping continues.
I dip my fingers in dyed water,
Trailing slender tips lovingly
Through the newly formed lake.
Sing softly my dear,
As we dance our black duet
And once again,
Your words fall on deaf ears.
Listen my love,
My hate.
Can you hear the call of the wolves?
Of course not,
How silly.
It is all in my head after all.
Surely I am only imagining
The needles piercing my heart.
As paper stars fall,
We rise again.
