I’m Getting There...

What has happened to this world?

Discrimination, separation, building a wall for this nation?

For what?!

They treat us like animals, building a wall to get rid of all the immigrants in America. But for what?! FOR WHAT?!

Because you think we are all gangsters, rapists, and drug dealers? Why asume the worst?

There will always be gangsters, rapists, and drug dealers in this world, but please stop thinking it’s just the immigrants from Mexico.

Separating families for what?!

Do you want to be separated from your family too?

Why judge me for my color?

Didn’t God make us all unique? It would be boring if everyone in this world looked like you.

Don’t you see my nose, my eyes, my ears, don’t you find a similarity in me?

If scientists discovered that animals have a similarity to humans, why do you think we beaners aren’t the same as you?

We are more alike than you think. Regardless of our skin color.

Sure I might not have the riches that you have, but I’m getting there.

I might not have the clothes that you have, but I’m getting there.

I might not understand much english like you, but I’m getting there.

I am not white like you, and I’ll never get there.

I might be a brown bean in the middle of a bowl of white rice, and I don’t care.

I am no different than any other person here.
