Hurt

You don't even care,
Turns out you never did.
We worked so hard,
How can I forgive?

May God teach me to love you,
And forgive what you've done.
There was a time when I would trust you,
Now it's dead and gone.

You're a whole different person,
When you're around your friends.
They don't even know you,
And the things you hide within.

You made my life hell,
And told them I was abusive.
You destroyed my mother,
My whole family, manipulated.

You hit me where it hurts,
Right in the one's I love.
Tearing them apart,
I had to watch it one by one.

Leave us if you wish,
I will bide my time.
If you leave tomorrow,
No one here will cry.
