But why was it easy for you to walk away from me?

It was easy for you to pick me up, and hold me
but why did you put me down in a rush?

It's not easy for everyone to say sorry, but they still attempt to say it,
but you didn't even attempt to say that you are sorry.

When you say I Love You, do u mean what you say, say what you mean?
Or is it just another word that stumbles upon your mouth?

I wake up from sleeping, and see your bags at the door
I ask what's going on, you lie to my innocent face, and say nothing.

I look up to you with tears of sorrow, and hate
But you don't even notice, because you've never noticed anything about me since my birth

As I grow, and become blessed and talented, you wish to come back into my life
I look at you with the same eyes I seen you with, the day you left

But now i realize they weren't tears of sorrow, or anything
It was just a way for my heart to say that it's hurting, and it has never stopped

I always wanted that attention and love that I gave but never recieved from you.
Now all I have is hurt.

And it's not in my heart anymore, it's just for you period. I still hurt, but it's just for you, not because of what you did, anymore.
