I wish for the world to be a little more grateful

A bit more appreciative,a little less hateful

We are all filthy rich, because our lives our full of gems

Yet we zoom through our days without ever acknowledging them.

Slow down! Look around! Stop living life like a race!

Open your eyes, inhale the world, reduce your fast pace.

We have so much to be grateful for: our friends, our  family, our bed

We have food on on our plate and a bright future ahead

So smile a little wider, soak in the sun a bit longer

Laugh a little louder, hug a bit stronger

Cherish each moment as if it were your last

Because you never know when something will become a thing of the past.
