A Holy Father

In the beginning, a hand touch my little head

Aflamed with light and life

There I see a heavenly figure, lively, not dead

I see no look on his face of any strife

He watched me grow from small to big

He smiled at me and I did the same

I looked like someone wearing a long wig

But he says, "You are perfect the way you are my child" after he called me by my name

Years go by, not surprised

But what happened later blew me away

The man sat down, bowed, and he cried

"Oh Lord my God, why can't I stay?"

I was drowning in my own set of tears

That may have been the death of me

What roamed my mind were tribulations and fears

And loneliness is what I see

The man looked back one more time

At a small town he was fond of

I looked to the south during the noon-time

I felt within me a lost-love

I cloud of visions hovered above me

Where I see myself and my beloved friend

Series of lessons and advice I have learned from he

But all that I thought was the end

Sad and in distress, I drove a long way alone

To a church I've never gone before

I wanted to be on my own

Until I hear a voice that I know and adore

My mind was spinning and my heart was beating

A stream of heat flows under my skin

A warm embrace has got me clinging

To someone I have loved ever since the beginning

I've been blessed to be united

With a friend I love

I let my soul filled with a flood

Of joy and happiness from God above
