hollow as the sky is vast

Across the farther shore,

Eyes as sapphire as the sea.

She loves the world with a hollow heart,

Hands outstretched toward secrecy.

Truth is the ultimate illusion.

She sees nothing as real.

All is a mosaic, a simple derision.

Let the glass fall away.

With a heart as hollow as the sky is vast,

She drifts through eternity—

Cold and distant as the farther shore.
