We could talk for hours

about anything and everything 

It felt as if we have

known each other for years

Even though we just met 

We were strangers a moment ago

and now I feel able to be

so vulnerable and open with him

Looking out at the rain falling down 

“The sound of rain is one of the most peaceful sounds” I said
