Hidden Away

It doesn’t seem like it’s possible

So why would you believe it

That a child can be

Away from the world

You’d be amazed at how far we’ve come

How does a child survive without the sun?

It’s the one question that I can’t seem to explain

Does it only bother me?

Does it hit everyone at once?

Even I am having a hard time figuring this out

Never have I heard of being a kid a bad thing

Always smiling when they awake

Whether they can go play they have fun in their own way

Adventure is their middle name and they enjoy each and everyone

Yet nowadays its seems like it’s a sin just to be a kid

I am a child of seventeen years and for reasons I cannot fathom I Stay Hidden away

Make a difference let the child in you come out
