A poem for the lack of self assurance
A poem for the girl who doesn’t always have it together
A poem for the hard times, filled with words we all need to hear
A form of expression for the girl with the quiet voice.
It’s an escape, an outlet for all of the things gone wrong.
I may not always have people to talk to
But maybe if these words are written out, things will seem better
The pressure on my shoulders will cease, if only just a little.
So let me write all my emotions on this piece of paper
And put it out there for that one person who may feel the same way I do
Let me find someone who shares these feelings.
