Her

Location

She looked at her,

And hated what she saw.

She looked at her hair

And hated the way it wasn't as long as other girls'.

She looked at her stomach,

And hated the way it wasn't flat like other girls.

She looked at her nose,

And hated the way it was bigger than other girls.

She looked at her eyes,

And hated how they were boring and brown.

She looked at her smile,

And hated the way her teeth weren't as straight as other girls'.

Then she turned away from the mirror.

But he looked at her,

And loved what he saw.

He looked at her hair,

The color of sunshine.

He looked at her stomach,

And the beautiful curves it gave her.

He looked at her nose,

And loved the adorable way it scrunched up when she laughed.

He looked at her brown eyes,

And how warm and inviting they were when she looked at him.

He looked at her smile,

And the way it could light up his whole world.

He looked at her,

And she was beautiful.
