Hoping, nay praying, it will rinse away the deep heart felt pain;

Staying the tack and straining against the ship’s wheel,

The pain in my arms nothing against the pain in my soul that I still feel;

The bow driving into foaming seas hard and deep,

Moving me ever forward to you for our love is ever there to keep.”
