He was Spring

Your steady warm breath

Against my neck.

Your body wrapped around mine

As if your first instinct is to protect.

You hold my hands in a warm embrace

With the conviction that you will never let go.

Your nose against mine.

Somehow I can still breathe

As if the only air you made was just for me.

My hands under your shirt

Your warmth.

Breaking in the comfort you expell to me

Like a smell I want a candle of.
