He desired to be numb

He desired to be numb and cold
Tired of the overwhelming pain sold
Feeling demise creeping every corner
In the eyes that couldn’t cry anymore
So he let it all go, fade, dissipate
No knife could cut his frigid armor
Emotions ripped away into darkness
Now he sits in emptiness, his bliss
With only a few words of advice
Be careful what you wish for in life
