Have You Ever

Have you ever felt that you eyes were slightly clouded,

Like you were looking but everything was turned upside down?

Have you ever had to take two little blue pills,

So the world could shift back into place?

Have you ever had to lie about why you missed school yesterday because you were sick, but the truth is you literally couldn't get up?

Have you ever felt like no one know the REAL you,

Since you really didn't know the real you either.

Have you ever looked at that bottle with eyes full of pain,

Because you could decide whether to take two or twenty two?

Have you ever been told by your friends that they wanted to die,

After their parent told them they weren't getting a new car?

Have you ever felt like screaming at them,

Since they didn't know that you were in the hospital for two weeks after you tried to overdose.

Have you ever felt like you life was run by pills,

Because you can't turn the world yourself?
