I Never thought I'd see the day,

where I had to bury my mother

I Never thought I'd have to pay,

the same price as my brothers

I Almost considered dropping out

and giving up on school

I'd Lie in bed as I scream and shout

and Only think of You

Everyday I got school work

I'd sit back and Procrastinated

But the Pain, the Joy, Confusion, and the Hurt

Paid off because I finally Graduated

The next step for me is College and soon I'll be Gone
