Happy Valentine's Day

I am a kid, and you a rose.
My love for you, I will now show.
With your beauty, I wish to touch.
Me stealing your heart? No such luck.
By far you, yes you, are most fair.
And for you I shall always care.

I do not know why I love thee.
You may not even say you love me.
May I say it? Why I love you?
For your ethics. And cunning too.
You are sweet but with many thorns.
Too great the pain. When will I learn?

My lovely rose, you don't need me.
Maybe I... I should let you be.
For I bring only great sorrow.
My dark past... Closely it follows.
Good bye for now, but remember....
My love for you won't die, never!
