Happiness is fleeting that’s what people say

It can leave you any given day 

I know it’s like when it’s hot eventually it will be cold 

And you may be young but one day you’ll be old

It can change quicker than you think

But when it does you can’t let yourself sink

Find anyway to save yourself 

Leave the bad stuff on the top shelf

Happiness may leave for a short period of time

But will always return and you’ll be fine

If something makes you happy be sure to keep it

Because when it’s gone you can’t throw a fit

You have to move on and know it wasn’t meant to be 

And eventually you’ll see

There are always things that just feel right 

So just go with it and try not to fight

Overthinking can destroy your mind

So stop searching for reasons not to do something because there’s always things to find
