hamartia no.3 - deconstruction of unacknowledged lacks

its about the spaces between

what we are and what we aren’t

what we have and what we -

tu me manque…tu sais, tu sais

some things were never meant

to be constructed or contained,

   kept or cherished, you see.

some things were never meant

to be

   kept                                   .

some things…

i cannot trust you

but you talk and talk and cannot

build trust like a bridge unless i respond.

else where is the rail the wall the walkway?

the contradiction

is a sign of plates moving

apart: divergent boundaries

split hands clasped.

the pendulum swings and swings and swings.

who were you then.

what am i now?

lean between the lines

and read the past in the inksplatter,

the rorschach test of our dissolving muddling bond.

what isn’t said is most important,

but if it isn’t said, how can we know it happened

?

the theory of missed connections

is what i chose to study.

can i pass by failure?
