Guilt

Wed, 08/17/2016 - 01:08 -- A.ham

I live in a small town.
In my town every look is a glare.
Every “you tried” is a “you could’ve done better”.
There is no “good job”. I live in a medium-sized town.
In my town every “say no to this”
is a “say yes to that”.
There is no “you did what was right”. I live in a large town.
In my town there is no “congratulations”.
There is only “you did this or that wrong”.
There is no love.  I live in a city.
In my city there is no love.
There is only self-hate and destruction.
There is nothing else.  I live in Guilt.
In my mind there is no one.
There is only me.
There is only guilt.
