Growing

1 Corinthians 1:19-20 New English Translation (NET Bible)

19 For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will thwart the cleverness of the intelligent.” 20 Where is the wise man? Where is the expert in the Mosaic law? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made the wisdom of the world foolish?

Remember brother J...

Growing up – growing out – or not growing at all

Let me figure out what people want to hear

If I can show what I know I will have a ball

And all may be at the point to be at peace with me

I think I am succeeding I feel pretty good

I get all the attention, I think, I deserve today

“Life is worth the living”, just misunderstood

Really to be admired makes it worth the stay

Another class has passed, but what about next week

Will it be more of the same? A cart filled with goodies

Will it be a toss-up like a constant "hide and seek"?

For something that lives in the mind with the heart excluded

Mirror, mirror on the wall I must be the smartest

You don’t have to agree as I make my own legend

There are many like me but I will go the farthest

For in my world, I own my dimension not to mention
