The Great Awakening (#BlackLivesMatter Pt.3)

It hurt my heart when I first heard about George and Ahmaud,

But when it really hit home is when I heard about Breonna,

They shot her house up in her sleep,

Was essential, an EMT,

And what's fucked up is their suspect was probably already in custody;

Imagine getting rest after a day on the frontlines,

Just to wake up and die cause the cops had a tough time,

She was a bright star, they trynna dim her light, y'all,

But I'm screaming, "THERE WILL BE JUSTICE! RIP TO BREONNA"

"RIP TO AHMAUD, RIP GOES TO GEORGE,

AND EVERY BLACK PERSON THAT DIED CAUSE THE COLOR THEY WERE BORN!"

And to those rednecks who took time to murder Ahmaud,

I hope you get savagely murdered, or burned alive in a marsh,

Full of gasoline, this might be over the top but I gotta be,

Cause my people are one body and, "WE CAN'T BREATHE!"

This shit should've ended with Emmett in '55,

But hate's taught through generations, so hate stays alive,

But now we're thriving and that's what they despise,

So to get us, they end up on the force or bitter-ass lowlives,

I'm telling you,

Awaken, my people x3
