Mind Grind

Mind Grind

Oh how a child seems just some time ago.

No slack, no nap, lost track of a bedtime

Hard work, no sleep, what senseless crime, mind grind.

Our chains release this person I don't know.

Blindfold, without my sense without control.

Lost time, quick signs, rewind, stress overtime

New life, my life oh what dramatic time!

This new abyss of renewed comfort no.

And yet, the pride within my heart bright glows,

And know that I have worked so hard I swear

To learn to grow and fail through times unclear.

To see my work unfold, to know what's told

My future runs without a moment's care

Freedom at last, now gather here to cheer.
