Gracefully Growing Up

Growing up is tough.

Requires a lot of self-

Trust

Often times

You can misjudged

Situations

Where there is

False love.

False passion.

But taking L’s

In a mature fashion;

Is the difference

From being a kid

that would have

thrown

A

Full-blown tantrum.

Adults say jargon

Like

“Life is not fair.”

A kid would respond

“I don’t care.”

Although,

As an adult

You’ve been there.

Whether it’s

Holding your

Tongue

So you won’t

Set fire to your

Career.

Or putting

In all the effort

And

Receiving

Nothing

for it.

Simply,

Growing up has

You enjoying

The little things

In life.

Like a nap,

A snack,

And a new

Fanny pack.
