Goodbye

She used to think

The world was her oyster

She could soar through the sky

But her wings have been clipped

She can no longer fly

She no longer has hope

She wishes to die

She did love her friends

She's saying goodbye

goodbye to her family

her friends and her dog

Goodbye to her teachers

she sees in the hall

Hello to the blade for one final time

As it slices her wrist

she whispers

goodbye
