Golden Lesson

Became a protector overtime

And kept me up throughout the whole climb.

Teaching me something new as the days pass.

A lesson that could never be taught in a class.

The Golden Lesson was to know that I was worthy.

A surprise it sure was to find out I was coming a little early.

With her acts of endless love and concern,

As I grew up I came to learn...

I wasn't insufficient because he left without further ado,

I was so great that she was willing to do the job of two.

So great that when things seem to get harder

She taught me that if I fall, like a phoenix I rise even stronger.
