The Golden Calf

The Egyptians made a golden calf and worshipped it.
When the Lord learned what they did, he had a fit.
They stabbed God in the back even though he saved them from being slaves.
What they did was reprehensible, it was a shameful way to behave.

Those people were terrible and they had no gratitude.
Moses and God were both disgusted by their attitude.
God is the only one who should be worshipped, not a golden calf.
When people do such things, they will suffer the Lord's wrath.
