Generations Course

I have traveled in time

To when animals; my brothers, with too large teeth roamed the Earth.

To a time when heroes came home and were greeted after having destroyed others lands,

A time when life was simple; when discovery was starting to breath.

A day when your name meant the world to you and not a blemish wanted to be on it.

A decade where more was better and doing anything to get what you wanted was the norm,

A century of starting over and releasing your soul of sins

Days where everyone sat at the dinner table, smiled and conversed,

                When family came first.

I have been to the battlefields where people I could never have known perished.

The Past, the Present and the Future.

A time when technology has taken over the mind of the young,

And when you think of yourself instead of you country,

An era when children are overloaded with work and media,

Not a second spent on listening to one another.

When change occurs, it won’t be with a commotion, but a silent settle over the Earth,

                It’ll be slow at first.

But then maybe, just maybe people will stop looking at one another’s appearance, but who they really are.

This is the change that will come, we will get there
