Gender Bender: A Story of They

Locations

Teacher, open your eyes!

You are feeding them all lies!

We are living in a society so enwrapped with gender,

I imagine myself becoming a bender.

Not only of rules, regulations, and taboo,

but of customs, self image, and tattoos.

I am not a pretty little girl,

nor am I sweet little pearl.

I am fluid and expressive,

nothing shy from agressive.

I dont go by she and her,

nor do i tend to blur.

The lines I've set,

the eyes unmet.

I am they and they I am.

For I am gender diversity, sir nor ma'am.

Please feel free to feature my poem on your page. I would really appreciate to get a link to know what your page is about and if I can help in anyway. Also, I will keep writing poems, on broad topics of gender, social conform, and much more!
