Gaffling Kind

Love to be longed for,

thinking it existed no more.

He builds up my hopes,

then tears down my dreams.

Never knowing how much,

to me, he really means.

Displaying a supercilious smile,

he earns my trust, just for a while.

Unlike the gaffling kind,

he strengthens the question on my mind.

If destiny manifest true love for sure,

this heart of mine, has yet to cure.
