The Freedom Change

When you make up your mind to change

It's a beautiful thing

It's like throwing your shackles away

And hearing freedom ring

And hearing freedom sing

Just watch it while it swings in the wind

With its wings overhead with no strings.

You're at peace with no qualms

There's no quiver in your palms

You can go to sleep at night

With no fright like Vietnam's

Bombs won't last for long

As long as we stay calm

Let it wither with the smoke

As it spoke as an alarm.

You'll be happy when you meet

People with different feet

Some small, dainty, petite,

Hard, coarse, bitter or sweet

They'll come from different streets

And when the heat hits the concrete

You won't cry in defeat

You'll survive with the elite.

Because when you are free

You are free from skeptical degrees

You can think without caution

Limitless from sea to sea

You can breathe just like amphibians

In the sea and on land

There'll be no such thing as oblivion

As long as you can understand

The Way to Live

Is The Way To Believe

The Way To Give

Is The Way To Recieve

The Way To Forgive

Is The Way To Proceed

That's why I sit back and let freedom change me.

That's why I sit back and let freedom change me.
