The whole world longs for forgiveness,

or to be able to forgive one that has done wrong

and to feel that everything is right once again

however, not everything is solved with simple words.

That is not how the world works.

Life isn’t that simple.

and the sooner you learn this harsh fact,

the better off you will be

If you want to be forgiven, there is one main theme

you have to care

you have to realize you are wrong

you must realize that what you did,

can never be undone

and that what you did will leave a mark,

not only on the victim

but on you.

If you want to forgive,

you must keep your heart open

and you must hold your stance.

If you do not assert yourself

you will be walked on.

they wont care that they hurt you.

they will take you for granted.

And, you will still be there.

Convincing yourself that they care

If you find yourself having to always forgive them

they don’t care

they aren’t being careful as to not hurt you

they are saying things are accidents

when you both know it was purposeful

and you know that it hurts

and you know that you are a victim

You may chose to ignore the pain

but it is still there. It will always be

you have to let go, and it may hurt.

But you will learn

there are people who will apologize to you

and actually mean it

instead of forcing you to apologize

for something they did to you

so stop apologizing

and stand up
