Forget Me Not

I wish you loved me more
Or I loved you less
My heart is full to bursting
When I think of the beauty
Exhibited in you
   Your face
   Your movements
   Your words
I have seen all of these things
And I have seen how passionate
Your pretty little self
Can get about stuff
   Your games
   Your hair
   Your politics
You are passionate about everything
Except what matters-
If I don’t try first
You don’t speak to me
If I don’t try first
You don’t touch me
I am sure that
Even though I try first
You don’t love me
At least not nearly
As much
As much as

I love you
