Flying with the Angels

She’s flying with the angels,
Look at her go.
She’s young and free again.
The hardships don’t show.

See, Mama, she’s flying with the angels.
I miss her dearly,
But she’d miss me too.
If she didn’t see Heaven so clearly.

Daddy, look, she’s flying with the angels.
I know you wanna cry.
She would cry too, if she was here.
But now she’s high in the sky.

She’s flying with the angels.
Her pains are all gone.
She’s happy and smiley,
And bright as dawn.

I know she’s flying with the angels.
Yet, it still hurts to not see her here.
I wanna take her back, but I can’t.
At least my heart still holds her dear.

Everyone, she’s flying with the angels.
I know you’re worried and sad.
But she won’t fall or get lost.
It isn’t even that bad.

She’s flying with the angels
With everyone she knew.
She’s waiting for us, you know,
It’s so very true.

She’s flying with the angels.
It’s time to say goodbye.
We need to live, grow, laugh
And let her fly.

I know it’s hard.
It hurts so, so much.
But she’ll be fine.
I’m sure because…

She’s flying with the angels.
