From all the stars in every galaxy,
to the electronic melody
of every song that comes through my eardrums.
From every relaxing activity
to the feelings of melancholy.
Someday I will go beyond and not succumb
to the vise grips of formality.
Eyes shut tight,
as my senses take flight.
The beats flow through me
making me feel light.
Frozen in mid-air,
but only for a moment
and then...
The bass drops.
Tripping on broken beats,
I let down my hair.
Now is my time to own it.
This symphony is what brings
happiness to me.
