Flawlessly Me in 24

Location

My first hour I'm a zombie

My teeth nash, I stumble, and my hair looks alive

In this moment I am Flawlessly me.

The next six hours I'm a ghost

My lips smile, my eyes avert, and my voice is silent

In this moment I am Flawlessly invisible

Five more hours I'm an artist

My pencil scrawls, my hands steady, and my shoulders square

In this moment I am Flawlessly alive

The next two hours I'm a reason

My brother argues, my sister complains, I cook to the symphony

In this moment I am Flawlessly family

For one hour I'm a child

My makeup gone, my homework done, my bears are waiting

In this moment I am Flawlessly unarmed

The last nine hours I'm a whisp

I float, I think, I know

In these moments every one, I am Flawlessly all I can be
