Flawless to Me
Flawless to me
Little child, being brought up in this cruel world
Just know the lessons I bring
The hate, the love, the snide remarks in between
Don’t listen to others
On how you should be.
You may think back,
And see how flawless you were to me.
Life may not be fair,
You’ll soon learn.
People are not all you think they will be.
Just remember to teach what I taught upi
And say to others “you are flawless to me.”
Life gives back,
For what you put in.
Life is funny like this,
Evil may be pretty
But run away from it now,
My hope for you is
Stay true to what you believe
Spread to the world what you think,
It didn’t matter who you were;
The happy, sad,
Rich, or poor,
To the girl who has too much confidence,
To the girl who has none,
they all need to know they're loved by someone
I hope you teach them,
You are important
you are all flawless to me.
