Flash Back

What are your fears?

Demons see right through you.

Don’t try to run,

they’ll only pursue you.

Vines creep up your body

and steal all your air.

The crows peck your eyes out

because they don’t care.

Where’s your family and friends

when you really need them?

Are they right behind you,

because I don’t see them.

And remember the bleeding bodies

and untold lies?

Yeah, they’re real,

just look past the blue skies.

Those silly little promises

made, but never kept.

Because the letters H.A.P.P.Y

are less than you expect.
