Flag

Why don’t you,

Wrap yourself?

In the mighty,

Flag of the nation.

It is guaranteed,

You will need,

No white fabric,

To cover your restful corpse,

No dressings,

For the oozing wounds,

From the pellets or bullets,

Alas,

Little do they know,

No handmade shroud,

Can cover the disgrace.

You may side with the tyrant,

Until your name comes up,

Till again

Drape yourself

Till again

Never again.
