This Is In First-Person
I am a poem without pretense.
I am a poem without a personal vendetta against a nebulous dark soul or some figuartive suffocating force of convention.
I am a poem whose passion is exuded through cheap parallelism and stark imagery - "jet-black ink" on a "screen of purgatorial white".
I am bravely plagiarized, another dagger in the heart of creativity, which is okay because everyone else is doing it.
I am a watered-down mess of Anglo-Saxon lettering that some people, God bless them, try so hard to find beautiful.
I am the next natural step in the evolution of the written word.
I am a scab, not biting satire.
I am a poem without pretense.
