Finalization of Goals: Touching the Intangible

Over the course of years,

Over the course of days,

Over the course of writing this sentence

The so-called "future" has changed immensely

Similar to how seasons occur

Changing colors, changing shapes

And yet each individual tree knows it owns the same roots it did a year prior.

Similar to crashing waves,

Colliding, constantly moving and changing in a fluid motion,

And yet every bit of water still exists

So granted,

I've changed as a person over the course of years

I've changed as a person over the course of days

I've even changed over the course of writing this sentence

I might be a tree, moving one day forward

I might be a waterfall.

The key is, though, that I'm constantly growing, constantly moving

Over the course of years

Over the course of days

Over the course of writing this sentence
