Fighting

All that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the heated whispers up above my head

My parents are fighting, I know it is true
For I saw my mom crying, not knowing what to do

If only this feeling was small and rare
I would know how I could properly bare

But sadly this occurrence is nothing new
So I’ll leave them to argue with nothing more ado
