How could individuals that look SO different coincide with one another?
They said the brown animal could never be called a brother.
On August 28, 1968, two sides making up a quarter million marched as one number.
Each foot marching released a past of pain and fear.
The sounds of the chants rang through the streets like a heard of dear.
FOR ONCE, for once... for once life was being lived as God intended.
Black brothers amongst white brothers, white fathers amongst black mothers.
and for the first time, unity resulting in numbers.
