Fear and Hesitation

When you first looked at me,

Smiled at me,

My heart fluttered, yet I turned away

When you first spoke to me,

reassured me,

My heart fluttered, yet I turned away

I was afraid of getting hurt by you

I was afraid of love

Now that you look at me,

Smile at me,

I admire you and hug you

Now that you speak to me,

reassure me,

I admire you and hug you

Because I love you,

I am willing to get hurt,

I am no longer afraid of love
