Sadness, you rarely feel it coming, always appearing when you least expect it.
How I wish I could have left it so far behind;
I thought for sure it was gone, but it only took years to find its way back.
How I wish it was on a different track; a track I wasn't on.
A track that would bring me no harm with its enticing charm.
Sadness, oh how I wish it'd fly away; fly so far away I'd never feel when it comes near.
I can breathe again.
The sadness I once feared is gone.
I can feel again.
I can feel the joy running through my veins.
I can feel the warm peace calm my soul once again.
Sadness, oh how I love that its gone.
