Expectations
Location
Finely shaped,
Satin to fall against,
Each leg and arm.
Held up only,
By the finest plank,
Of light wood.
Taking it down,
To put it on,
Only to disgard it.
To throw it away.

Yes, this is definitely a tough transition, but isn't it great that we have poetry to write about our true feelings? I liked how in this poem you showed jhow delicate someone can be, and how delicate life is in general. If you are interested in writing other types of poems like sonnets and haikus, make sure to check out "poetry writing tips" under the "resources" section of the site!
