Young, curious, absent-minded

placed in a world of confusion

forced to obtain knowledge and seek information

Nomadic, in search for friends and acquaintances

left to explore the world on my own

adapting to an ineffable society, one day at a time

Confident, valorous, determined

Eyes remained on the prize

Focused on positivity and success

Goals, attained

Prepared for the next chapter

Adrenalized, yet hesitant, I prepare for my next journey, college

Curious and absent-mined, placed in a world of absurity

Forced to apply aqcuired knowledge and information to achieve prosperity

Taking in every moment, step by step,

Yearning for ultimate satisfaction

The hands on the clock continue to tick

And time appears to advance at the speed of light

One blink and it will all reside before me

Eyes will remain on the prize

With hopes of success being the final reward

This poem is about:
Me
